Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an Associate Director, Clinical and Operational Improvement, to lead optimization programs for hospitals and health systems in the Healthcare Payer and Provider space.

You will manage multi-workstream engagements, mentor teams, and deliver measurable outcomes across clinical, operational, and financial domains, while traveling up to 75%+. The role requires deep healthcare operations knowledge and strong leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; nursing or clinical degree preferred.
• 7+ years of hospital operations or related experience.
• Strong data analysis and interpretation skills; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality consulting services for healthcare client engagements.
• Build and maintain relationships with client decision-makers.
• Identify priority issues and develop practical solutions for hospitals and health systems.
• Lead multi-workstream engagements with project plans and budgets.
• Provide delivery assurance across engagements for quality and alignment.
• Coach and mentor junior team members on client assignments.
