Job summary

Bentley University invites applications for Associate Director of Civic Engagement to supervise student committees, plan civic and social justice programming, and coordinate impactful campus events in coordination with the BS­LCE leadership.

The role includes guiding social media efforts, managing staff and student teams, and steering the Social Entrepreneurship Fellowship within the Bentley Social Innovation Incubator. Strong collaboration across campus is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of experience with community agencies and/or student populations.
• Experience with Social Media content and public presentation skills.
• Ability to design training sessions for students involved in service-learning and civic-engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee BSLCE student committees focused on civic engagement and social justice.
• Develop programming in the Social Justice Lounge and coordinate speaker events and campus dialogues.
• Oversee the Center's social media presence (LinkedIn, Instagram) and manage Student Content Coordinator.
• Coordinate and oversee the Social Entrepreneurship Student Fellowship and related incubator programs.
• Supervise students in professional development opportunities and leadership retreats.
