Job summary

This position is with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) in Arlington, VA. The Associate Director for CISA Central leads watch and warning coordination to strengthen national resilience across physical, cyber, and communications infrastructure.

The role requires senior leadership, resources management, and advisory expertise on information security programs. Telework eligibility and federal employment benefits are part of the package.

Responsibilities

• Executes as executive agent for watch and warning functions, coordinating agency efforts to enhance national preparedness.
• Improves capability to detect, prevent, respond and mitigate disruptions to physical, cyber and communications infrastructure.
• Acquires necessary resources, including financial resources, to operate enterprise continuity; advises senior management on cost/benefit of information security programs.
• Provides situational awareness through collection, maintenance and sharing of threat information.
• Supports development and management of the IOD strategic and annual operating plans; assesses contractor and personnel support.
