Job summary

The University of New Hampshire seeks an Associate Director to provide strategic and operational leadership for CWEP, directing statewide pre-service, in-service, and ongoing training for foster, adoptive, kinship, and residential caregivers in partnership with DCYF.

This senior role will supervise the Family Training team, strengthen partnerships, and advance lived experience integration to improve outcomes for children, youth, and families across New Hampshire.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in education, social work, human services, public administration, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of progressively responsible experience in training, instructional programs, learner development, or related roles.
• Certifications or credentials may substitute for portion of required education or experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for CWEP initiatives and caregiver education programs.
• Oversee statewide delivery of pre-service, in-service, and ongoing professional development for foster, adoptive, kinship, and residential caregivers.
• Supervise Family Training staff, recruit and onboard instructors, and ensure alignment across CWEP with DCYF standards.
• Manage training platforms, data reporting, budgeting, and program evaluation to inform continuous improvement.
