Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3–6 years of relevant professional experience; career development, higher education, technology, counseling, student success, or related fields preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Commitment to providing excellent, inclusive customer service.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Zoom.
  • Super-user or admin experience with career services platforms and related technologies, such as Banner, Handshake, uConnect, Big Interview, Focus 2, or NACElink.
  • Comfort learning, navigating, and supporting new technologies.
  • Ability to effectively engage with a diverse student population and collaborate with faculty, staff, administrators, and external partners.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends and travel between campuses as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deliver, assess, and improve career programming and student engagement.
  • Provide career coaching to students and alumni one-on-one and in groups.
  • Develop outreach and communications tailored to majors, interests, and industry trends.
  • Oversee technology platforms and data reporting to improve engagement and outcomes.
  • Lead departmental operations, staffing, and cross-campus coordination.
