Job summary

The University of Hawai‘i Foundation seeks an Associate Director for the ‘Bows Athletics Club and Stewardship to support UH Mānoa Athletics development efforts. Based at UH Mānoa, travel interisland or nationally may be required, with some evenings and weekends.

You will build donor relations, manage stewardship portfolios, and align activities with UH Athletics goals to grow private support. Collaborating with the UH Mānoa Athletics Development team, you will coordinate events, prepare reports,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5 years of progressive non-profit experience preferred (alumni, development, education, or membership).
• Valid driver’s license; background check required upon offer.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between UHF and UHM Athletics to develop and implement the ‘Bows Athletics Club giving society.
• Build and manage a stewardship portfolio for donors of $100–$9,999, with growth toward major gifts.
• Strengthen donor relations with alumni and athletics leadership to advance initiatives.
• Coordinate donor strategy, communications, and event logistics for fundraisers and gameday experiences.
• Track metrics and prepare reports on participation and outcomes.
