Job Description

The Associate Director is responsible for executing media strategies, including negotiating scatter needs, analyzing allocation and billing processes, and facilitating smooth transitions from buy to air. They will also train and guide Managers and Associates across all tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Negotiate cable purchases
  • Create recommendation documents
  • Develop and deliver POV/position papers on key issues and opportunities
  • Oversee brand allocations and corporate ownership
  • Manage Tardiis allocations
  • Oversee billing discrepancies
  • Ensure schedules are correctly inputted
  • Create documents for Mission Control
  • Review and assist in post-buy analysis
  • Analyze ADU packages
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in media, with a preference for national broadcast; online video experience is a plus
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and math skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Technical proficiency with tools such as Mediaocean, MBOX, Nielsen, Comscore, AdRelevance, eMarketer, Forrester, and third-party ad measurement tools like Integral Ad Science; also proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in teams, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Leadership qualities
  • Strong negotiation skills due to high scatter volume
  • Industry knowledge is helpful but not required
