Job summary

Elevator Disco in Los Angeles is seeking an Associate Designer to support the design team in developing seasonal collections, researching trends, sourcing fabrics and trims, and assisting with sketches and technical design packages.

You will prepare presentation boards, organize samples, and collaborate with production, merchandising, and sales to maintain design intent through development, fittings, and final specs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in fashion design, including sketching, garment detailing, and working with technical design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Experience researching trends, fabrics, and trims, with the ability to translate insights into commercial, brand-appropriate designs.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with design, production, merchandising, and sales teams.
• Attention to detail in fit, construction, and quality, with a clear understanding of the contemporary and high-end fashion market.
• Previous internship or professional experience in fashion or apparel design is preferred, especially within contemporary or high-end women’s wear.

Responsibilities
