Job summary

Brobston Group is seeking an Associate Designer to create original, saleable men's apparel concepts under direction from the Senior Designer in Seattle, WA.

You will research trends, prepare sketch concepts, and collaborate with design and cross-functional partners to drive milestone-ready designs and presentations.

Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite, a strong portfolio, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design.
• 2+ years of design industry experience.
• Strong design portfolio and/or resume.
• Strong hand-sketching ability and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage time and multitask, and adapt quickly to new technology and systems.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and accurately sketch design ideas based on direction from the Senior Designer.
• Prepare and present design sketches to cross-functional partners.
• Collaborate with the design team and cross-divisional partners.
• Support the Senior Designer in preparing for key milestones.
• Research trends and competitive brands and report findings.
