Job summary

Carter’s Inc. is seeking an Associate Designer in Atlanta to translate trends into market-ready baby and children's wear designs. The role supports seasonal development, sketching, color and print direction, and maintains line sheets in Illustrator for presentation and buying needs.

You will collaborate with design and merchandising teams, participate in fittings, and help meet calendar deadlines while mentoring interns and contributing to brand-right creative.

Qualifications

• Must have inquisitiveness, strong communication and analytical skills.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, silhouettes, color ways, sewing techniques, fabrication and trim development.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate trends and brand direction into market-ready designs for seasonal collections.
• Prepare and present design ideas, line sheets and details to teams.
• Support design process from concept to final development and participate in fittings.
