Carter’s Inc. in Buckhead is seeking a Design Associate to support Brand Heat & Licensing initiatives. The role blends trend-driven concepting, print and pattern work, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced, agile environment. Hybrid work requires four days in-office with leadership guidance from the Design Director.

You’ll develop concept decks, create prints, and help translate consumer insights into compelling product directions across collaborations and licensing capsules.

Qualifications

• Portfolio required and presented during application.
• Experience in graphic design and print/pattern creation.
• Strong presentation skills for decks and concept materials.
• Ability to lead meetings and provide design feedback.
• Interest in collaborations, licensing, trend research, and brand storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Support fast-turn concept development for Brand Heat initiatives.
• Prepare polished concept decks and product boards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align deliverables.
• Create original prints and apply to sketches and CADs.
• Oversee day-to-day execution of special projects (line sheets, color palettes).
• Support pre-production art reviews, fittings, and design edits.
