Carter's Inc. seeks a Technical Designer to execute technical development activities and support fit execution across assigned categories at our Buckhead office in Atlanta. You will work under the Sr. Technical Designer to ensure development aligns with fit blocks, standards, and timelines.

The role emphasizes tech-pack creation, fit support, and cross-functional communication, with a focus on CLO-3D proficiency. Ideal candidates have apparel industry experience and strong problem-solving skills.

Formación

• 3–5 years industry experience in apparel Technical Design.
• Bachelor’s Degree or minimum 4 years of related apparel Sourcing or Product Development experience.
• Intermediate understanding of apparel construction, grading, ASTM standards and patternmaking.
• Effective communication skills.
• CLO-3D preferred; familiarity with Browzwear or Optitex.
• Understanding of Gerber Accumark and Illustrator.
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical and project management abilities; proactive problem solving.

Responsabilidades

• Execute tech-pack creation using approved blocks, grade rules, and standards.
• Support fit sessions and document fit comments and revisions.
• Ensure specs and construction details are accurate and complete.
• Communicate development updates to cross-functional partners.
• Track development progress against calendar milestones.
• Identify and escalate risks related to fit, construction, or timeline.
• Create and maintain 3D assets aligned to development needs.
• Assist in block application and consistency across styles.
• Prepare styles for handoff to Production Technical Design.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and documentation.
