Free People in Philadelphia is seeking an Associate Designer for Graphics and Craft. This role involves creating apparel graphics, embellishments, and ensuring designs align with the brand’s aesthetic. You will collaborate with the design team and manage various aspects of the design process.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3-5 years of experience, alongside proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and digital rendering skills. The role offers excellent benefits, including medical and generous employee discounts.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years related industry experience preferred.
• Ability to work on site at our Home Office in Philadelphia, PA 4-5 days per week.
• Enthusiasm and experience with AI platforms for creative exploration a plus!
• Proven expertise in apparel graphic, embellishment, and textile design.

Responsibilities

• Attend weekly handoff meetings to receive project briefs.
• Create original artwork, layouts, and colorways using traditional and digital tools.
• Develop graphic and embellishment layouts and colorway options.
• Generate CADs to communicate print placements on garments.
• Partner with Senior Designer to execute seasonal textile vision.
