Job summary

42 North Dental in Montoursville, PA seeks a full-time General Dentist to lead the patient experience from exam to delivery of care. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. Earn up to 36% of collections and a sign-on bonus up to $20,000.

Responsibilities encompass treatment planning, patient education, x-ray interpretation, and comprehensive preventive care. 4–5 days per week, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with competitive benefits and advancement opportunities

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
