Job summary

42 North Dental in Montoursville, PA seeks a full-time General Dentist to lead the patient care journey from initial exam to treatment. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, with a strong emphasis on preventive care.

You will work 4-5 days per week, typically 8AM–5PM, with a daily guarantee or up to 36% of collections. The practice offers a competitive benefits package and opportunities for continuing education.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records and radiographs.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth and surrounding tissues.
• Maintain high quality standards of care and ethics.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation (ADA CODA)
