Job summary

42North Dental in Pennsylvania seeks a full-time Associate Dentist to deliver comprehensive dental care from examination to treatment. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics; the role covers the full patient experience and treatment planning.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain highest standard of care and ethics, and stay updated with new developments.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification

Hepatitis B vaccination

Malpractice insurance proof

Current state license to practice dentistry
