Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a full-time Associate Dentist to provide comprehensive dental care in a collaborative practice. You will manage the patient experience from exam through treatment and collaborate with specialists as needed.

The role supports ongoing education, mentorship, and growth within a network of doctors. Competitive benefits and a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 are offered.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and discuss treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethical professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree (ADA CODA accredited)

Current state license to practice dentistry

Hepatitis B vaccination documentation

Malpractice insurance proof

Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
