Job summary

42North Dental seeks a Dentist to join our Rhode Island practice, delivering comprehensive care from initial exam to treatment. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics within a strong clinical team.

You will promote oral health, diagnose diseases, educate patients on treatment options, and craft plans to preserve and restore health. We offer education and mentorship within a collaborative Doctor network.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
