Job summary

42 North Dental in Hollidaysburg, PA is seeking a full-time General Dentist to join our team. You will manage the patient experience from exam through delivery of care, with in-office services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Earn up to 36% of collections with a daily guarantee, 8am-5pm, 4–5 days per week, plus a $20,000 sign-on bonus. We offer health and dental coverage, 401K, CE opportunities, and access to Harvard Rounds Network.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
