Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Doctor of Dentistry to lead the patient care experience from initial exam through restorative care at our Michigan practice. The dentist will oversee in-office services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics within a patient-centered team.

Requirements include a DMD or DDS from an ADA CODA-accredited program, current state license, Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain high quality standard of care and professionalism
• Keep up-to-date with new developments and best practices
