Job summary

42 North Dental in Michigan is looking for a Dentist to oversee the complete patient experience, from exam and treatment planning to delivery of care, including in-office periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

Required: DMD or DDS, active state license, Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification. We offer comprehensive benefits, 401(k), continuing education, mentorship, equity, and strong earning potential.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA‑accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and educate patients on options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care, ethics and professionalism.
• Stay updated on new developments through continuing education.
