Job summary

42 North Dental in Portland, ME is seeking a skilled dentist to join our restorative and aesthetic team. You will manage the full clinical patient experience from exam to delivery of care, with in-office specialty services available.

We offer a flexible schedule (full-time or part-time), no nights or weekends, strong earning potential based on production, and a supportive network of doctors along with comprehensive benefits and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and create treatment plans.
• Educate patients on oral health options and treatments.
• Review and maintain patient medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissue.
• Maintain high ethical standards and professionalism.
• Keep up with developments through continuing education.

Education
