42North Dental in Portland, ME, seeks a dentist to join a restorative and aesthetic focused practice. You will manage the full patient care experience, from exam and diagnosis to treatment execution, with access to in-house specialties.

The position offers a flexible schedule (full- or part-time), strong production-based compensation, and comprehensive benefits, including malpractice coverage and ongoing CE support.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high ethical and professional standards.
• Keep up with new developments, technologies, and best practices.
