Job summary

42 North Dental in Portland, ME seeks a Dentist for Restorative & Aesthetic Dental Associates. This role covers the full clinical patient experience from initial exam to delivery of care, with in‑office specialty services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

You will work in a modern, patient‑centered practice with no nights or weekends, flexible schedule (full‑time or part‑time) and strong earning potential based on production.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans with patients.
• Review and maintain medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret X‑rays and diagnostic tests.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
