Job summary

42North Dental in Portland, ME is seeking a DMD or DDS–level dentist to lead the clinical patient experience at Restorative & Aesthetic Dental Associates. You will diagnose, plan, and deliver a wide range of restorative and aesthetic procedures with a focus on high-quality care and patient education.

The role offers a flexible schedule (full-time or part-time), no nights or weekends, and competitive earnings based on production, with strong upside based on case mix and schedule.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics.
