42 North Dental in Portland, ME seeks a Doctor of Dental Medicine or Doctor of Dental Surgery to join a restorative and aesthetic practice. You will manage the full patient experience from exam through treatment planning and delivery of care.

The in-office team offers a mentorship network, production-based compensation, and a modern patient-centered environment with strong earning potential and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license to practice.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and plan treatment.
• Educate patients on treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans with patients.
• Maintain and update medical and dental records.
• Review X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive care.
• Perform surgical procedures as needed.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism.
• Stay current with new developments and continuing education.
