42North Dental is seeking a dentist to join a restorative and aesthetic dental practice in Portland, ME. The role offers a flexible schedule (full-time or part-time), with no nights or weekends and a focus on restorative and cosmetic procedures.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold a DMD or DDS degree and an active state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination is required.
• Proof of malpractice insurance is required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.

Aufgaben

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain high quality standards of care and ethics
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education
