42 North Dental in Portland, ME seeks a qualified dentist to join our restorative and aesthetic practice. You will lead the patient experience from initial exam through treatment delivery in a modern, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and create treatment plans.
• Educate patients on oral health options and care.
• Develop and review treatment plans to restore health.
• Review, maintain and update patient records.
• Interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests accurately.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth and supporting tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care, ethics, and professionalism.
• Keep up to date with new developments via continuing education.

Education
