Job summary

42North Dental in Portland, ME is seeking a Dentist to deliver restorative and aesthetic care within a modern, patient-centered practice. You will manage the full patient experience from exam to treatment plan and delivery.

This role offers a competitive production-based compensation between $150,000 and $200,000 USD, a flexible schedule (full-time or part-time), and strong mentor support within a network of doctors. No nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have a DMD or DDS degree from CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics in practice
• Keep abreast of new developments via continuing education

Education

DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program

Current state license to practice dentistry
