Job summary

42North Dental in Portland, ME is seeking a Dentist to join a restorative and aesthetic dentistry-focused practice. Flexible schedule: full-time or part-time, with no nights or weekends, and a production-based compensation model.

You will perform a wide range of procedures in a modern, patient-centered environment, supported by a collaborative team and ongoing education opportunities. DMD or DDS and state license required.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patients' oral health.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.
