Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a qualified dentist to join our growing practice in Rhode Island. The clinician will manage the entire patient experience from examination to treatment, including in-office specialties. We welcome a steady patient flow and a commitment to high-quality, ethical care. Candidates must hold a DDS/DMD, a current state license, and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry is required.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination is required.
• Proof of malpractice insurance is required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree
