Job summary

42 North Dental is hiring a Dentist to lead the patient care experience from initial exam and treatment planning through delivery of care. Our practice offers in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, with a focus on high-quality outcomes.

This role emphasizes comprehensive patient care, collaboration with a strong team, and ongoing education through our CE events and Harvard Rounds Network.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree (ADA CODA accredited)

Current state license to practice dentistry
