Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a dentist to oversee the full patient experience from initial exam to delivery of care, including in-office specialty services such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. The practice emphasizes a strong patient flow and continuous education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry is required.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination is required.
• Proof of malpractice insurance is required.
• Current BLS or CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest standard of care and ethics.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.
