Job summary

42North Dental in Michigan is seeking a Dentist to lead the clinical patient experience from initial exam through delivery of care, with in-office specialty services including periodontics, endodontics, and orthodontics.

You will diagnose diseases, create and discuss treatment plans with patients, educate them on options, and maintain comprehensive dental records while upholding the highest standards of care and ethics. Competitive compensation and benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documentation.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain highest quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep up with developments and continuing education.
