Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a skilled Dentist to join our patient-centered practice in Michigan. You will deliver comprehensive dental care from exams and treatment planning to delivery of care, including in-office services such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

You will educate patients, review treatment options, maintain records, interpret diagnostics, and uphold the highest standards of care and ethics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license to practice.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
