Job summary

42 North Dental in Rhode Island is seeking a licensed Dentist to manage the full clinical patient experience from exam to delivery of care, including in-office specialty services such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

You will join an established practice with a strong patient flow, competitive compensation of up to 36% of collections plus an annual rate ranging from $150,000 to $250,000 USD, and a benefits package including health insurance, 401K, and continuing

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B documented.
• Malpractice insurance coverage.
• BLS or CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through current continuing education courses and professional development

Education
