Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a full-time General Dentist in Enfield, CT. The role entails managing the complete patient experience from exam to treatment, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The practice offers strong patient flow, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for continuing education through Harvard Rounds Network. Expect 8am–5pm, 4–5 days per week, with potential earnings based on collections and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Must have ADA CODA-accredited degree.
• License to practice dentistry in the state.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documented.
• Malpractice insurance proof.
• BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Keep current with new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
