Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Full Time General Dentist in Enfield, CT. The role covers the entire clinical patient experience from exam to delivery of care, including in-office specialties like periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. Qualifications

DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA.
Current state license to practice dentistry is required.
Hepatitis B vaccination must be documented.
Proof of malpractice insurance is required.
BLS or CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

Promote oral health and disease prevention
Diagnose oral diseases
Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
Review and update patients' medical and dental records
Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
Provide restorative and preventive dental care
Perform surgical procedures in the oral cavity
Maintain high standards of care and ethics
Stay current with developments, technologies, and best practices through continuing education
