Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a full-time General Dentist in Montoursville, PA to oversee the patient experience from exams to treatment delivery. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. Earn up to 36% of collections with a daily guarantee option and a sign-on bonus up to $20,000.

Work 4-5 days per week, 8 AM–5 PM, with benefits including health insurance, dental/vision, 401(k), CE opportunities, and Harvard Rounds Network events.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program is required.
• Active, current state dentistry license is required.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B is required.
• Proof of malpractice insurance is required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth and surrounding tissues.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program

Current state license to practice dentistry

Hepatitis B vaccination documentation

Malpractice insurance proof
