SUMMARY:The LPN-to-RN Associate Degree Nursing Instructor is responsible to the Dean of Nursing and Allied Health. Items will be adjusted as needed in accordance with standards or accepted practice in the profession.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Develops, implements and evaluates the program of learning.2. Develops standards for the admission, progression, and graduation of students.3. Participates in academic advisement.4. Participates in the activities of the total faculty of the parent institution in ways that benefit the institution, the unit in nursing, and the faculty.5. Participates in professional and community activities for the purpose of bringing education, service, and research findings together for the improvement of health care.6. Meets all requirements listed in the general Classroom Instructor job description.7.
