Job summary

Colin College seeks an LPN-to-RN Associate Degree Nursing Instructor to lead program development and evaluation at the Simpson County Center in Mendenhall, MS. The role reports to the Dean of Nursing and Allied Health and requires an MS in Nursing or a BSN with MSN enrollment, plus RN licensure and teaching experience.

The instructor will participate in advisement, standards setting, and outreach activities, and must be able to work some evenings and weekends as part of a dynamic nursing

Qualifications

• Master of Science Degree in Nursing or BSN with MSN enrollment
• One year of clinical experience as a registered nurse
• One year of teaching experience as a nursing instructor (not required)
• Mississippi RN license in good standing
• Criminal background check required
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends

Participates in the activities of the total faculty of the parent institution in ways that benefit the institution, the unit in nursing, and the faculty. 5. Participates in professional and community activities for the purpose of bringing education, service, and research findings together for the improvement of health care. 6. Meets all requirements listed in the general Classroom Instructor job description. 7.
