Job summary

Kiernan Trebach LLP in Hartford, CT (Remote) is seeking an Associate Defense Trial Attorney with 3+ years of insurance defense experience to join our growing Hartford practice.

You will defend a range of matters, handle motions and depositions, and work independently from case inception to trial, with a strong focus on delivering effective defense for our clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Insurance Defense experience.
• Experience writing motions and other legal memoranda, and summarizing depositions is preferred.
• Ability to work independently from suit inception to settlement/trial is preferred.

The Role

We are seeking a new Associate Attorney experienced in Insurance Defense (3+ years) to join our team. Your role will be to defend a variety of matters at our growing Hartford, CT practice.

What You Will Do

Defend a Variety of Insurance Defense matters as well as:

• General Liability


• Personal Injury


• Product Liability


• Professional Liability

What You Will Bring

Our ideal candidate will have 3+ years of relevant experience and the following credentials/skills:

• Juris Doctorate Degree


• Experience with Insurance Defense.


• Experience writing motions and other legal memoranda, and summarizing depositions is preferred.


• The ability to work independently from suit inception to settlement/trial is preferred.

Required Education & Licensure

• Active Connecticut Bar License (Required).


• Trial experience (Required).
  


• Being able to waive into another bar and having multiple bars in the New England area is ideal, however, we are willing to consider candidates with only one bar.
