Job summary

Qualifications

• A relevant doctoral degree or appropriate terminal degree as specified by AACSB standards.
• Three years of relevant administrative experience.
• Record of scholarly work and teaching sufficient to have earned the rank of tenured, full professor in an AACSB-accredited business school.
• Familiarity with AACSB standards and a comprehensive metropolitan university environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage undergraduate enrollment and impaction planning, retention efforts, and general supervision of student academic welfare.
• Oversee development and delivery of the BSBA degree offered through SJSU Online; supervise program director and collaborate with offices.
• Collaborate with Undergraduate Curriculum Committees and task forces to improve course content and relevance.
• Coordinate orientation programs for first-year and transfer experiences; direct enrollment management for undergrad and grad programs.
• Assist the Dean by designing initiatives, programs, and partnerships to enhance education quality for SJSU graduate students.
