Compensation Range:$93,449.30 - $148,419.49Position Summary:Hiring Salary Range: $93,449.30 to $102,794.23 depending on qualifications.Assists the Dean in overseeing the operations of technical academic programs at the Dale Mabry Campus, including Business Administration, Computer Science, Accounting, Architecture, and Electronics Engineering Technology. This position will ensure effective delivery and management of the programs. Responsible for academic program activities including developing new programs and coordinating projects, managing course schedules, and supporting students. Responsible for the development and management of operating budgets. Supervises faculty and staff.Job Duties:Develop and coordinates program and course schedules, faculty assignments, and test datesDevelops, administers, and monitors departmental operating budgetsMonitor students feedback surveys, classroom performance, and appropriate instructional standards for instructorsPrepares performance evaluations for facultyAssists faculty and the development of course and program curriculum, program and course reviews and articulation activitiesAcknowledges, researches, and responds to student complaints and academic appealsProvides leadership in the development and maintenance of strategic goals and objectives for the unit being supervisedLeads the development of grant proposals and supports the successful fulfillment of grant deliverablesCreates and maintains safe and engaging laboratory learning environmentsChairs college-wide committee and coordinates committee events as neededAttend community meetings for professional associations, business groups, and civic clubs to promote college initiatives and programsOther duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:The position requires a master’s degree and at least five years of related work experience.Preferred Qualifications:A Master’s degree in a field related to area of responsibility, and work experience in post-secondary education, including supervising faculty, chairing programs, and teaching.Close Date : August 31, 2026.
