Texas A&M University’s College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences invites applications for the position of Associate Dean of DVM Admissions and Student Recruitment. This is a full-time, 11-month/year faculty appointment with significant administrative duties (60% effort), anticipated start fall 2026.

Tenured candidates may be considered for Associate Professor or Professor based on qualifications.

Qualifications

• Clinical practice experience in the U.S. or Canada.
• Minimum of five years of teaching experience in veterinary medical education.
• Demonstrated leadership and administrative experience.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Record of scholarship and publications.

Responsibilities

• Teaching in the DVM curriculum (10-30% effort).
• Providing academic service to the college and university (10% effort).
• Contributing to research/scholarship (5-25%).
• Opportunities to contribute to patient care in the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital.
