Job summary

Sonoma State University seeks an Associate Dean for Academic Pathways and Partnerships to provide strategic leadership within the Office of Academic Programs. Reporting to the AVP, the role directs curriculum and program development and oversees initiative areas including dual enrollment and career pathways integration.

Qualifications

• Earned doctoral or terminal degree with at least 3 years of higher education leadership experience.
• Experience with curriculum development, academic planning, scheduling, and assessment.
• Commitment to equity-focused, student-centered culture and shared governance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership oversight for curriculum and program development within the Office of Academic Programs.
• Oversee dual enrollment and external K-12 partnerships to support college readiness and career pathways.
• Supervise staff and coordinate curriculum development/change processes and dual enrollment planning.
