Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Cyber Systems Engineer/Cyber System Engineer for the Aeronautics Systems sector in Rancho Bernardo, CA, with opportunities at Palmdale, Redondo Beach, or El Segundo.

The candidate will perform security analyses, design and test system security solutions, and support development and integration efforts. On-site work is required with up to 25% travel; U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM required by Aug 2027.
• Master's degree in STEM required by Aug 2027 for T02.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance; Program Special Access may be required.

Responsibilities

• Identify cybersecurity risks and assist in designing, developing, integrating, testing, and verifying system security solutions.
• Work with stakeholders to remediate cybersecurity risks and incorporate improvements into the system.
• Engage with customer counterparts to improve the weapon system’s cybersecurity posture.
• Work full-time on-site; travel up to 25%.
