Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Software Engineer to join a diverse team in Palmdale, CA, with possible El Segundo/Rancho Bernardo locations. You will design, develop, test, and debug applications, contributing to integrated product teams and leveraging Blazor, .NET/C#, and AI-enabled tooling.

The role requires a STEM degree and 2 years of related experience, or a Master's with minimal experience; US Secret clearance eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in STEM with related engineering experience.
• Experience with a coding language and software development.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret clearance and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, test and debug applications and systems.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers in planning and integration.
• Develop data processing systems for software products.
• Analyze user needs and system capabilities to meet requirements.
• Prepare operating instructions and support documentation.
• Develop compilers/assemblers and operating systems utilities.
• Ensure software standards are met and apply technical best practices.
• Provide solutions to progressively complex technical problems.
• Work under general supervision with sound technical judgment.
