A Day in the Life

We seek a committed professional residing within the territory to travel to multiple accounts across the region. A valid driver’s license is required, with travel outside the territory also involved. This role offers broader engagement opportunities.

Provide technical, educational, operational, and sales support to meet Cardiac Rhythm Management sales and customer service goals. CRM values candidates who strive for reliability and quality in products, processes, and systems, being accountable, vocal, and proactive.

Clinical Specialists must be in their assigned territory daily to handle unscheduled needs. They work weekends and holidays as determined by management. Weeknight coverage is primarily by Sales Reps, but CS may be scheduled for weeknight coverage as needed.

Responsibilities

Technical Support

  • Complete CRM Field Technical Training, including online and field-based training.
  • Perform checks/interrogations of CRM medical device systems post sign-off.
  • Support CRM implant procedures post sign-off.
  • Provide on-call support during evenings and weekends.
  • Assist troubleshooting efforts as needed.

Operational Support

  • Ensure completion of patient registration and hospital documentation.
  • Manage inventory, including consignment and trunk inventory.
  • Maintain software on district programmers.
  • Assist with daily coverage logistics.

Educational Support

  • Educate and train physicians and hospital staff on products and solutions.
  • Assist in training new Clinical Specialists and Sales Reps.

Sales Support

  • Partner with DSM, Sales Reps, and District Managers to understand market dynamics and customer needs.
  • Support the procurement of customer POs.
  • Understand the competitive landscape.
  • Identify customer needs and opportunities, providing feedback to support sales objectives.

Ongoing Technical Development

  • Stay updated on new products and solutions.
  • Complete all training promptly.
Minimum Qualifications

Must have on resume:

  • High School Diploma + 4 years of healthcare, sales, or technical experience, or
  • Associate degree + 2 years of relevant experience, or
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
Preferred Qualifications
  • B.S. in nursing, life sciences, biomedical engineering.
  • Experience in cath lab, EP lab, cardiology, or hospital settings.
  • Experience teaching medical personnel.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and devices.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
  • IBHRE certification (below principal level required for principal level).
Physical Job Requirements
  • Frequent travel, mobility, and communication.
  • Lifting up to 40 lbs. regularly.
  • Extended periods of sitting, standing, walking.
  • Environmental exposures, including radiation and infectious disease.
  • Ability to wear lead aprons for extended periods.
  • Use of hands and vision for detailed work.
  • Driving within the territory (~80%).
Travel Requirements

Minimum 10% travel.

Benefits and Compensation

Competitive salary, incentive plans, and comprehensive benefits package. Salary range: $63,000 - $79,000 (U.S. excl. PR). Additional benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and more.
