Job summary

Vedder Price P.C. in Chicago is seeking a litigation associate to join the Litigation team. The role offers exposure to Creditor's Rights and bankruptcy matters with opportunities for client interaction and business development.

The position requires 3–4 years of law firm experience, a J.D. degree, and Illinois admission in good standing. The firm supports a hybrid schedule with three days in-office and two days remote.

About You

• You bring 3-4 years of law firm experience focused on Creditor's Rights Litigation and bankruptcy law;
• You have hands-on experience drafting complaints and motions, conducting discovery, appearing in federal, state, and bankruptcy courts, and post-judgment collection;
• Deposition experience and strong case management abilities are highly valued;
• You have a J.D. degree and strong academic credentials;
• You are admitted in (and in good standing with), or taking steps to become admitted in, Illinois.

Compensation

• $240,000 - $285,000 annual base salary
